Research Project: Band Gap Engineering via Doped Green Nanocatalysts for Enhanced
Photocatalysis
About the Project:
The Department of Materials Technology, Faculty of Technology, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, is conducting research on the synthesis and band gap engineering of semiconductor nanocatalysts for enhanced photocatalytic applications, with a focus on the utilization of natural waste materials. The project is funded by a Rajarata University of Sri Lanka (RUSL) Research Grant, and one (01) Research Assistant position is available for immediate recruitment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Synthesis, optimization and characterization of semiconductor nanomaterials using natural materials.
- Maintaining accurate laboratory and research records.
- Meeting research targets and assisting in research publications and related project activities.
Required Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a BSc / BTech / BET degree in Materials Technology / Materials Engineering, Applied Sciences, Physics, Chemistry, Nanotechnology, or a related discipline.
Preference will be given to candidates with research experience in nanomaterials, semiconductors, or materials characterization.
Duration: 03 months
Monthly Salary: LKR 60,000
