URSOT 2025 Proceedings
The Faculty of Technology at Rajarata University of Sri Lanka proudly hosted the Second Undergraduate Research Symposium of Technology (URSoT) on March 19th, 2024. This annual event fosters a culture of innovation among faculty and students, showcasing their research and development endeavours.
URSoT 2024 centered around the theme “Technology for a Sustainable Tomorrow.” Student research projects explored advancements in five key disciplines: Electrical and Electronic Technology, Materials Technology, Food Technology, Bioprocess Technology, and Information and Communication Technology.
Professor Kapila Rathnayaka, a leading expert from Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, delivered the keynote address. He inspired young researchers and delved into the topic of “Data Mining for Business Analytics: Concepts, Techniques, and Applications.” His speech highlighted the significance of data and data analytics in research, policy development, and practical applications.
URSoT 2024 served as a remarkable platform for undergraduate researchers to showcase their talent and dedication. The symposium fostered a stimulating environment for knowledge exchange and collaboration, solidifying its position as a significant event in the university calendar.
